ART SHOW:

Out of the Box - The Human Condition

An art exhibit sponsored by Peace Works and held in collaboration with the 4th annual Brunswick Peace Fair. at the Morrell Community Room, Curtis Memorial Library, Brunswick.

The exhibit honors the work of seven Maine artists sharing their

concern for the tensions and emptiness of the post 9/11world; for the lives of people caught up in forces much larger than themselves.

Works in a variety of media express the immediacy of experience

whether of war, homelessness or just carrying on.

The artists are:

Marcia Annenberg, Pat Apt, Nancy Benner, MarjiGreenhut, Judith Krischik, Edward MacKenzie, Nancy March and Philip Weyenberg

Opening on July 3rd and continuing through August 2nd.

A reception for the artists will be held on Friday, July 11th from 5 to 8 during the second Friday art walk.
